Perhaps the most important, noticeable change in a piano servicing appointment is the tuning. After years of play without tuning, the piano often becomes flat, giving it a duller, mellow sound. A good tuning can remedy this to no end.
In order to achieve the very best results, I use both the newest, cutting edge technology and the traditional method of tuning by ear. This hybrid method of tuning consistently produces results that are incredibly pleasing to the ear.
If a piano is already very close to being at Concert Pitch or you simply would like the piano tuned to itself, this should only require one tuning. However if you would like it raised in pitch substantially, this will require two tunings in the one appointment and thus will be slightly more expensive.
